What is tesamorelin?
Tesamorelin is a synthetic analogue of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It contains all 44 amino acids of natural GHRH with a trans-3-hexenoyl group added at the start, which protects it from breakdown by enzymes. It acts on the GHRH receptor in the pituitary gland.
