What is pentapeptide-18?
Pentapeptide-18 is a synthetic peptide of five amino acids, known under the trade name Leuphasyl from the Spanish ingredient maker Lipotec. It is modelled on enkephalin, one of the body’s natural signalling peptides. In laboratory work it is studied for its effect on the nerve signals that make muscles contract, and it is often formulated alongside acetyl hexapeptide-3 (Argireline).
