What is in this vial?
This vial contains two different synthetic peptides, 15mg in total:
- Cagrilintide, 5mg: a long-acting analogue of amylin, a hormone released from the pancreas with insulin. It acts on amylin and calcitonin receptors.
- Semaglutide, 10mg: a long-acting analogue of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). It acts on the GLP-1 receptor. Molecular formula C187H291N45O59; molecular weight about 4113.6 g/mol.
Both carry fatty-acid side chains that bind albumin in the blood and extend their half-life.
How this differs from cagrilintide alone
Our Cagrilintide listing contains cagrilintide only. This listing adds semaglutide, so it acts on two receptor systems (amylin and GLP-1) rather than one. The ratio here is fixed at 5mg cagrilintide to 10mg semaglutide.
Regulatory status
Semaglutide is the active ingredient of prescription medicines (Ozempic, Wegovy and Rybelsus). A cagrilintide and semaglutide combination (CagriSema) was submitted to the US FDA in December 2025. This product is research material, not any of those medicines, and is sold for laboratory research use only. The FDA has warned sellers that a “research use only” label does not make it lawful to market such products for human use.
Handling and research-use notice
Store and handle this material as stated on the label and certificate of analysis for your batch; see our guide to storing research peptides. This product is sold for laboratory research use only. It is not a medicine or supplement and is not for human or veterinary use.
