What is cagrilintide?
Cagrilintide is a synthetic, long-acting analogue of amylin, a peptide hormone released from the pancreas together with insulin. A fatty-acid side chain lets it bind albumin in the blood, which extends its half-life. It acts on amylin and calcitonin receptors and was developed by Novo Nordisk, mainly in combination with semaglutide.
Cagrilintide product specifications
- Compound: cagrilintide (long-acting amylin analogue)
- Type: lipidated peptide
- Vial sizes: 5mg and 10mg
Available sizes: 5mg and 10mg
Both sizes contain the same compound. The figure is the total amount of peptide in the vial, supplied as a dry powder; it is not a concentration. The 10mg vial simply holds twice as much material. Tell us which size you need when you contact us on Telegram or by email.
Cagrilintide vs the cagrilintide and semaglutide blend
This listing is cagrilintide on its own. Our Cagrilintide 5mg + Semaglutide 10mg listing combines it with semaglutide, a GLP-1 analogue, in one vial. Cagrilintide is an amylin analogue, not a GLP-1 receptor agonist.
Regulatory status
Cagrilintide is not an approved medicine in the US, UK, EU or Canada. A combination product with semaglutide (CagriSema) was submitted to the US FDA by Novo Nordisk in December 2025. This product is research material, not that medicine, and is sold for laboratory research use only. The FDA has warned sellers that a “research use only” label does not make it lawful to market such products for human use.
Handling and research-use notice
Store and handle this material as stated on the label and certificate of analysis for your batch; see our guide to storing research peptides. This product is sold for laboratory research use only. It is not a medicine or supplement and is not for human or veterinary use.
